Many parents wait too long to prepare
— and it can feel overwhelming.

Most expecting parents start thinking about birth around 32–36 weeks
— often too late to feel fully prepared.

Questions like “What will my healthcare team expect?” or “What are my rights?”
can feel urgent, confusing, or even scary.
Without clarity, it’s easy to lose confidence in your own intuition.

Partners often want to step into a supportive role but aren’t sure how — and missed preparation can leave them unsure or disconnected.

  • Too little time to prepare

  • Confusion about rights & expectations

  • Anxiety about decision-making

  • Partner uncertainty

  • Looking for whole-body perspectives: how movement, posture, and breath support labor and birth

That’s why I created the Birth Prep Guide — to give you and your partner a clear, step-by-step understanding of labor, birth, and the early days with your baby. It helps you know what to expect, assert your preferences, and step into your role with confidence — together.

This guide is for you if…

🌿 You’ve gathered information but still don’t feel clear on what truly matters for birth.

🌿 You want your partner to step confidently into their role — without uncertainty or overwhelm.

🌿 You’ve felt the weight of doing so much on your own and are ready for steadier support.

🌿 You want a practical, straightforward way to prepare that works with your body, mind, and intuition.

🌿 You’re ready to approach birth grounded, aligned, and confident in your choices.

Why I created this guide...

Over the years — and through my own pregnancy and birth — I noticed that so many of us gather facts and research, hoping they will make us feel prepared… but we don’t actually know what to do with all that information. So we keep looking. Eventually it becomes overwhelming, and we stop. Not really any further in understanding what we want, what we expect, or how to communicate any of that to our support team.

And even when we create a birth plan, we’re not always prepared for how other belief systems — especially medical ones — can enter our birth space and shape the experience. I went into my birth trusting the ebbs and flows, knowing birth is intuitive and natural. What I didn’t prepare for was how strongly medical language, expectations, and protocols would come into my experience, often presented as “this is just what’s next,” without real discussion of options or my right to say no. The people around me were not connected to the intuitive, physiological rhythm I was following, and because of that, I didn’t receive the support my unique birthing brain needed… and it impacted my birth.

That’s why I created this guide. For all of us who know we need to prepare, but maybe waited until later in pregnancy or didn’t realize we could start much earlier. For those who want clarity, not pressure. For partners who want to show up but aren’t sure how. And for families who deserve to feel supported long before labour begins.

This guide is whole-body, trauma-informed, and partner-inclusive because birth is never just physical. We don’t birth alone — and everyone in the room influences Mama and Baby’s experience. When everyone understands their role, their presence becomes steady, attuned, and supportive.

I built this guide to feel like sitting with someone who genuinely cares — someone who helps you understand what matters, what doesn’t, and how to stay connected to yourself through it all.
